Crochet on the back! For the pockets, a sort of crochet granny square is used. I don’t know if the one we had at home when I was a kid also used crochet. But finding this was a bonus thrill. 🙂

Isn’t it amazing the things you find “crocheted” when you, yourself, crochet? I’ve been noticing a lot of crocheted items in the backgrounds of scenes on t.v. that I’ve never noticed before. I think your find might be the most original though! Hope you have a great day!
