WIMPs…Sorry, WIPs

I do have some crochet projects going on, while I wait for a doily to be chosen at my doily_of_the_month group. That cocoon/Polish/whatever sweater has been duly frogged and restarted, and is now progressing much more happily now. Thanks to Mrs Who over at Crochetville forums for those detailed instructions.
A photo of the cocoon… will be forthcoming soon, I promise.
In the meantime I’ve been playing around with my blog template, making changes with the bookmarklet. I’m not entirely happy yet, but we’ll see.

In love with sewing, weaving, crochet, and with bags and pouches and fabric. I love colour and pattern and texture. I love having my hands busy. Some day I hope my craft will become my day job.

  1. The old photos are my dad’s collection. Tirupati is a town in Andhra Pradesh which is famous for a temple of Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu. It is supposed to be the second richest religious institution in the world. My dad taught English at the university there in the 1960s.
    Durga is my mom’s name.
