Yes, I bought a book today, The Public Confessions of a Middle-Aged Woman, by Sue Townsend. I’ve enjoyed her Adrian Mole books, and am already liking what I’ve read so far in this one. It’s a collection of her columns for Sainsbury’s The Magazine.

I’ve not read her yet! I’ve looked at her books in the bookstore but have put them back in favor of someone else – usually Nicolas Sparks since that was who I was looking at in the section (its a small english sectionn so Sparks and Townsend sit practically next to each other!) i’ll have to make a mental note to pick up one of her books sometime
