Fits me beautifully (better than my crocheted items!) even more so because we don’t need woollens/don’t use most of the stuff where I live!

Things you can crochet:
rugs
lampshades
bedspreads
cat toys
toys for children
shopping bags
purses
hot pads for the kitchen (I don’t know where they get the patterns, but I have seen some fantastic ones of thread)
musical instrument cases (recorders, etc.)
eyeglass cases
and, of course,
everyone needs a decorative holder for the next roll of potty paper!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment on my blog. I do crochet some of the things you mentioned in your list, but half the time I don’t find the right gauge of thread/yarn or the right size needle. If something appeals to me enough, I just fudge and use whatever medium is available!

25 years ago I crocheted a rug using strips of cotton/polyester cloth and a size k hook. I still have it. Washes in the machines and dries in the dryer. Would love to have time/energy to make more.
