Yes, you read that right! I've been reading so much about Random Acts of Kindness, which I can't be a part of, not living in the USA/Canada/wherever, but! I got DAOK'd. Sheila has been holding my hand while I break my head over my camera, even staying up a whole night once. Thanks so much … Continue reading DAOK
Isn't it amazing? You can follow all the steps exactly as the troubleshooting manual tells you, and still not solve your problem. I'm talking about my issues with my camera not connecting to my computer. Now my memory card is full (which I never thought would happen) and my poor pictures have nowhere to go! … Continue reading And so it goes…
I've tried everything, including changing the USB cable, uninstalling and reinstalling the software so many times, but I still can't upload pictures. I am still clicking away merrily, and have added to my FOs: the sweater and booties from the Fleisher pattern book from the sixties that I talked about earlier. It has now gone … Continue reading Camera still not working…
My digital camera is not cooperating! I connect it as usual to the USB port and it isn't being recognised....I have so many pics to be loaded and this is really bugging me! Seriously, I have to finish this shawl for my aunt who will be visiting from Houston next week, and maybe make a baby set for my cousin's daughter (Maybe I'll knit … Continue reading I really must stop this!
Crochet on the back! For the pockets, a sort of crochet granny square is used. I don't know if the one we had at home when I was a kid also used crochet. But finding this was a bonus thrill. 🙂
We bought a carrom board a couple of days ago. For those who don't know, this game is like pool or snooker, only the "balls" are flat coins. It is a game for two players, two teams of two players or for four individuals. Great fun!
We had some friends over for dinner the other day. I made Spanish rice and Pasta, while Sridhar took care of the drinks and garlic bread and "small eats". These vegetables went into the rice. You won't believe how hot and humid it is here. I drip all the time... 😦
I have discovered fanlistings!!! I am even now in the middle of joining about a hundred fanlistings, just to .... I don't know....fit in, maybe? But of course the main benefit will be finding other likeminded (does that need a hyphen?) people. Just look at my list! That makes me wonder, are there unfan lists … Continue reading Fans please
